When the pandemic started I lost my job as the IT Director at a Law Firm. I have struggled to find work since and the stress of that has created many obstacles and issues. I read about veterans working with wood to help deal with stress and life experiences associated with combat. As I am a combat-wounded veteran, myself. I instantly fell in love. I'm fascinated by using my hands, modern technology, and power tools to become the best woodworker I can be. Striving to create one-of-a-kind rustic pieces of art to become a part of your home.
Each piece is designed to fit the recipient and according to your requests. I start with a consultation to find out what you're looking for. Then, I will send you design sketches, and we'll work together to finalize a design you love. Then, I get to building!
I create pieces you can enjoy for years to come. If you ever encounter a design flaw or craftsmanship issue, The Nerdy Woodworker will fix or replace your rustic piece–you only pay to ship. I'm also always available to help you maintain the look of your wood.
